1. What was it like using your hand as subject matter for a drawing?

Using my hand as subject matter it caused me to take a closer look at my hands than i ever did before. I noticed all the lines, shapes, and textures.

2. What media did you select - pencil or charcoal? Why?

I selected pencil because i thought it would be easier to use and less messy. Also i wish i would have selected charcoal because it would have came out darker.  

3. How did it feel to create a drawing with your non-dominant hand?

I found slightly more difficult. I became lost and confused as to where i was in the drawing, hence why the hands looked so different. 

4. Compare and contrast your final drawings. Do you think they are successful studies?

The drawing of my right hand looks fairly good. It does resemble a hand. Well my left hand drawing shows detail but the proportions of it are wrong.  

5. Would you consider using your non-dominant hand to create artwork in the future?

No because i did not enjoy it. It was very confusing and hard to do and the result was not as good as that of my dominate hand.
